Recap: #RightToARoof Launch on Human Rights Day of Action 2016

Saturday, Dec 10, 2016 - 300 San Diegans came together to launch the #RightToARoof campaign for affordable, quality homes for all of our families.

Together, we marked International Human Rights Day for the second annual community-led "Human Rights Day of Action" event. We filled a vacant lot in Southeast San Diego and held space as local residents who have experienced poor quality, unaffordable housing and homelessness shared their stories. San Diego City District 9 councilmember Georgette Gomez announced she will prioritize action on affordable, quality housing within her first 30 days in office.
