The Building Welcoming Communities Campaign (BWCC) is a recommendation from the White House, through the White House Task Force On New Americans. When a city or county adopts the recommendations, it becomes a Welcoming City or a Welcoming County.

The President is calling on local communities to join the Building Welcoming Communities Campaign and act on a set of principles to build inclusive, welcoming communities that allow all residents to thrive and advance integration efforts in three core areas: civic, economic, and linguistic integration.

  • Encinitas, joined campaign by a city council resolution passed in Mar 2016
  • Solana Beach
  • Lemon Grove
